Compared to most, my projects move at a snails pace… We started on the building in 2012, and now its time to start crimping the metal siding, etc.
Wow! Nice!
So, we messed around with making coke can roofs for a couple of small buildings to get an idea of how the process works. Did some hillbilly engineering on the fiskers…
used a papercutter… wondering how long the blade will last.
And here are today’s results…
The cans are a variety of materials, I did play with the oven until the wife was convinced bad things were going to happen. The cans are a variety of brands… but today I did test a cookie sheet and I am very pleased with the result.
Arizona Ice Tea can
Cookie Pan… note the interesting pattern. while its nothing prototypical, it added a very interesting texture.
and of course it is very flat.
Maybe I will finish this one in 2016-17 ?
John, then you are doing well compared to my station build.
Looks nice from here.
Looks good John. Not much snow in your part this year. I still cant see my buildings. Just a snow canyon.
Nice looking mine, should be great with the metal on it.
