Just got this in email:
Dear Railroad Crew,
Hello - this is Lisa, George’s daughter. I am very sorry to have to write you with sad news. I also apologize about emailing this information and not being able to talk to you in person.
My Mom, Ramona, and I took Dad to the hospital Sunday evening (5/4) He had a massive heart attack and unfortunately passed away late Sunday night. It is a shock to us and everyone who knew him.
You and the other railroad guys were very special to Dad. He talked about all of you often.
I’m sorry for not contacting you sooner. I just figured out how to get into Dad’s email account and am now contacting everyone on his address lists.
Obituary information is in today’s edition (Wed. 5/7) of The Burlington County Times and The Courier Post which both can be obtained on line.
Please pass the word onto anyone who might not be in his address book. My Mom and I can be reached at the following email addresses. You will always be a part of Dad and he will always be with us.
