Large Scale Central

Running with Mr. Edington :)

One of the best things about this hobby are the people I have met as a result. With Mr. Edington in town it seemed like a great opportunity to meet a forum member. Rodney was nice enough to drive up to the club layout and brought his ‘K’.

Here is my Empire Builder passing the ‘k’!

Sadly our club layout curves were a bit tight for the ‘K’ (they were designed for LGB/USA 1:24 stuff). So today Rodney came to the tiniest layout in the north…Yep, the L&I RR went battery this afternoon!

I ran a couple myself…

It was great to have you visit…Glad to hear Kristi is doing so well! Next time your place…

Nice Pictures and love the layout. I agree it is a great hobby because you get to meet great people.

Some nice pictures & company… Rodney & kristi are good people…

Excellent.
Nice to see that Rodney got to run some trains and relax a little

Mark you probably did a wonderful service to Rodney and our hobby. You helped a member take his mind off his troubles for a little while and looks to me, like you brought a smile to his face. Good job.

No Jake, I enjoyed it more!

Thanks for stopping by Rodney, you prooved to my kids I am not the only one!

I also now see what the hub-bub is all about on the Bachmann gearing. It is so hard to know what is going on when all you can do is read about it. Until now I have never seen a piece of 1:20.3 rolling stock that wasn’t mine.

Mark

I owe you a BIG THANKS
I had a blast and will do it again if I get a chance.
It was a great to get away and run some trains to get my train fix.

This is one of the reason I enjoy this hobby so much.
