Runnin in the rain

That’s one nice thing about LGB, they’re weatherproof. Besides, it was just drizzle most of the morning.

The stowaways were back

I really liked this one

And it might be even better with a little filter effects… What do you think?

And the other one?..

More filter fun… some look good, others I’m not so sure.

I like the abstract effect. Neat little engine!

that filter effect is called ‘cartoon’. This one is called ‘fresco’… looks almost like a watercolor

The effects are really cool. Makes it appear the photos were taken early 1900’s. Nice

I like how the fresco filter looks.
Will have to look and see what GIMP has in it like that.

Seems I spend every weekend in wet pants legs this year. Madam Mallet doesn’t much notice the rain.

I think I like the photo best unaltered. But then, everybody knows I’m weird.

Hi MIK,

Photos are great! However, I think the original photos look the best. Your RR looks real good. Is the engine an LGB 2015?

Ed, Thanks.The garden was a lot of work in a short period of time, and came out better than I had a right to expect. That’s what happens when you have years to accumulate stuff, and a month or two of deep snow to plan. Somebody should give Kim a medal for putting up with me.

#6 is (or used to be) a 2017D that I got off Stan Cedarleaf. My first ‘major’ ($100) purchase after the big D, and helped me get through a really rough time. Much of the rest of it is Delton and Bachmann.
It’s story is here;
