UPDATE: Head Found in a dark recess of East Escape’ Gorge!

It’s amazing how much easier it is to find things when you live closer to the ground. My 9y.o. niece was over Saturday. We were in the basement gathering up some people for her to use with a New Bright set she was building upstairs. She noticed the headless conductor’s body and I told the story including details of the exhausting search that failed to turn up his head. She looked around and within 30 seconds spotted something behind the dryer. We got a stick to fish it out, and sure enough it was said conductors head.

Reattachment surgery and reanimation procedures are planned for later in the week.

Ghost Sighting in Downtown Silverton

The only photo available at press time was taken from a distance and from behind, but the infamous beheaded conductor was seen by many in front of the Shady Lady saloon near a Coors delivery truck.
