Imagine how many nuggets that thing would produce…
“There’s something foul afoot in not so serene Serenity Canyon,” said the Sheriff. Mr. Arrant has decided to guide a hunting party into the canyon, in hopes of at least sighting the giant bird. He says that he will only charge $100.00 for the week long expedition, all meals and booze included, bring your own shootin’ iron.

I am really enjoying reading about rooster this way!
It is very unique !
Thank You Ray!
Ray,
Very unique and terrific!
LMAO…Good stuff Ray!
journalism at its best!
“The colorful colossus” " the freakish fowl" Now that is funny Ray. You have a knack for newspaper writing.
The excitement at your RR reminds me of last Winter when we had several snowy owls wintering here on the Cape. Folks went nutty looking for and at them.
After all the trouble that Rooster has been getting into at other RR’s I can understand why he is being cautious at yours.
Good stuff.
Great stuff Ray.
You’re going to need a bigger skillet…
Once you feed him, you’ll never get rid of him. Or maybe just fattening him up for…?
Good to see your whole family take in the sight.

Wonderful reporting and really a fun read. Thank you.
Doc Tom
And so the saga ends! I had way too much fun doing these.
…and we had fun reading the headlines Ray!
Here one day and gone the next. I’m sure his discovery, sightings and mysterious vanishing will go down in the lore of the town and except for actual photographs of the monster it would have become myth.
Surely 100 years from now when a historian, curious student or a time capsule is opened and a copy of this weeks Dos Manos Bulletin is dug out the facts will be considered as legend or a case of mass hysteria from an elaborate hoax.
I’m sure the town will miss their avian alien.
Where will rooster turn up next?
Well, this is billed as a turkey, so maybe the Rooster has gotten camouflaged and moved to Wisconsin.

A loose, missing bird?
