Rotary OY Resource Pictures (Rivet Counters Delight)

Greetings All

This past week Ben and I took a trip to Chama NM and had the opportunity to photograph many of the iconic narrow gauge items located there. Among them is Rotary OY. Here is a link. You will have to scroll down as it will soon be at the bottom of the build log for my freelance model Rotary OMY.

It is mostly detail pictures as there seems to be plenty of glamour shots of the old girl. If you ever wanted to count the rivets on the shroud or see the interior of the tender then this is your lucky day. I climbed in the fireman’s enclosure and took lots of pics of the back-head and interior walls before Ben reported me to the yard boss… “Banned for life”. Does that mean my life or the yard boss’s? He was pretty old, I think I can outlast him.

Pics of OM, flangers and other D&RG MOW as I have time to edit and post them.

Where are the rivets?

Didn’t think Ben was a nark …now I have to be careful what I say around him anymore …like Steve cause he’s a nark too!

Interesting. I can hardly wait to see it come to fruition! (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)

I thought you once said that Sean was a nark, or do I have that wrong?

Did you leave Ben there for ratting on you?

That was Shawn not Sean!(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Oops, my bad.

Was there any builders marks on the snow thrower bit? I am curious because the Portland (ME) Company built some rotaries but they were not used locally as far as I know.
