I found this BNSF Heritage Fleet Great Northern rotary plow, powered by a B Unit of some ilk, in Appleyard, just south of Wenatchee, WA two springs ago. I promised Roos that I would look for them. Here is the best one.
A few weeks ago there was rumor that the Wenatchee Rotary was going to be sent down the Oregon Trunk to clear the snow mess. Ended up sending down a Dozer from Pasco or Spokane. I haven’t see any pictures of it yet plowing snow, but supposedly it took quite the fast trip down the trunk.
It would be great to see it in action.
Looks a lot like this one that i photographed in January.
Looked too nice to be plowing snow.
