Ron's new Heisler and Porter

Ron Teten got his Heisler back from Dave. He put in RCS/battery and sound. Sure did a nice job, fixed some problems with the Heisler also. It had a locked up truck when Ron got it off ebay. Dave found quite a few things wrong, fixed it GOOD! Ran smooth as silk and sounded great. Installation of the battery and placement of the switches was nice. We had a hard time finding them!

Dave put in a new front light also.

Ron also got this Bachman Porter, it is track powered, for now, ran smooth.

That is without doubt the most real-Heisler-sounding Heisler I’ve heard.

It’s a Phoenix sound system that Dave installed.

In fact, it sounds even more realistic and ‘clunky’ than the real thing running on the Pacific Coast Scenic Railroad in Oregon, and that one has a REAL Heisler sound unit in it…

Wisht Dave Goodson lived near us [sigh] Over here they want over $500 to fit a Phoenix sound system. :open_mouth:
