Refurbishing some of the fleet

will the price increase be far behind?

Love the paint Job on the engines!

Hmm… that picture of the train does not clearly show any full length domes… there appears to be one car in the distance that has a black top that could be a full length dome.

I tried going to http://www.rockymountaineer.com/ and the web site is not there/down.

does not bode well…

Sean,

I call the paint scheme “The Wave”, looks really neat in the landscape.

20 videos of the different versions of the RM in this album https://vimeo.com/album/101192

Well, the site is back, looks like a nice setup, I saw a nice rail tour / cruise combination for only $10,000 each…

Greg

the Los Angeles Times travel section runs a large color ad every week for RM

If they are keeping those trips full, I’d imagine they have the budget for a nice big ad. Cool

The wife has now seen the site… is shopping… well there goes a couple G scale purchases!

Greg

That is a killer, sexy, silky smooth paint job.

Funny that you post that. I am one year away from my 25th wedding anniversary and this is what I want to do for our anni. But as mentioned this is not a budget vacation. But if you have not been to the BC/Alberta Rockies then you have never seen Heaven. They are rugged raw and beautiful. I want to do this trip in the fall as the colors are amazing.

I judge a RR book by its cover. The easiest way for me to fall in love with a RR is to have a nice paint scheme… I am n love.

links with embedded special characters do not work on this site, not even the html escape codes… I tried several times.

When Bob gets bored maybe he can look at this…

OK replaced the long URL with TinyURL. That should work, I hope. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-yell.gif)
