Rocketry and more

As most of you probably already know, I’m also into rocketry, particularly using onboard cameras to capture photos during flight.

And I love camping in the desert and exploring old ghost towns and mining camps.

I enjoy various types of gospel music, mostly Southern gospel and country gospel. I have a collection of records, cassettes and (more recently) CD’s that takes up a sizeable chunk of storage space. Been a while since i tried to count 'em but I think there’s probably about 1500 or so. Unfortunately my stereo system died recently and I’m not sure how to go about replacing it – do they even make turntables and tapedecks anymore??

I also enjoy singing, though my meager talents in that regard fail to match my enthusiasm.

I have almost every episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 on tape and/or dvd, and still watch them on a regular basis. I also have the new stuff produced by the former cast members: “The Film Crew” and “Cinematic Titanic” dvd’s.

MST3K is on DVD!!! AWWWWESOME!!! Truley COmic genious that!

Bart, Rhino Videos has released twelve 4-disk volumes so far! A little pricy, but you can usually get the best prices on them at Amazon.com

Ray, they make an USB turntable nowadays!

cale

I have a bunch of those on VHS buried somewhere in my closet, I loved that show!

Somewhere there are cast resin figure kits of Tom Servo and Crow, been looking for them for a while now.

So…what was your favorite Invention Exchanges, both of mine were on the same episode, Dr Foresters “Breakfast Bazooka” and Joel’s “In Between Meal Morter” I laughed for days.

“…you die Joe!”

Those were great. I also liked the "tank tops" complete with cannon and turret.

One of my favorite bits wasn’t an invention exchange, it was when Tom showed up with a disturbing new head - from a ventriloquist dummy. Crow’s horrified reaction was perfect!

There was just too much stuff to pick out a favorite…and some of the BEST lines were during the movies…you really had to pay attention sometimes…
