Hi guys,
Okay, off to a new project. I’m going to modify this Santa Fe baggage car from USA Trains:

Into a reasonable facsimile of this:

I’ve already installed Kadee 906 couplers. The next modification will be a larger door opening on each side:

I plan to make all new doors. Hope to get it far enough along today for paint. Dry transfer lettering and stripes are scheduled to arrive on Tuesday.

Not sure how you are planning to cut the door openings wider but I do know that it’s quite the task on those extruded aluminum cars. Looking forward to the results.
