Glad to hear that, but I'll be sorry if RRS is no longer stocking trains. I have found their service excellent.

I think you’re confusing that one with Trainworld, where the owner died, and the son is now running things. They too appear to be slowly getting away from large scale and focusing on O scale … but it’s not as drastic a change.

I see RLD Hobbies name has came up in the conversation here.
Not enough good can be said about Robbie’s commitment to his business and customers.
If he hasn’t got it he will get it, and at the best possible price. I have done business with him several
times in recent years and he is always over the top when it comes to service.

Fellers, this has been discussed to death on another site. People are having their orders cancelled, only what they have in stock will be sold now! and many have called them they are closing their doors, no Matthew no confusion with Trainworld it’s RidgeRoadStation. Regal

P.S. If there are still disbelievers, call em they will tell you themselves!!

I don’t really read many other sites, so I’m not sure why it shouldn’t be discussed here. And, Trainworld did have some changes when the owner died, and the son took over… Ridge Road just seems to be getting out of the large scale trains business without anyone dying. Which is why the owner was alive and well when Phil saw him.

My understanding was that the owner started this company when he retired 20 years ago. It would seem that he is really retiring this time. Regards, Dennis.

I always had good service from Ridge Road. They will be missed.

It always took me a while to find them, as I always want to call them Road Ridge. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep Steve.....aside for the other chatter which is really no business of ours(mine) anyway. Ridge Road was my first go to supplier. Excellent service, friendly, no bull or crazy shipping charges. They will be missed!!!
