Little ride around the layout, the camera car comes uncoupled ( USAT coupler and Aristo, not happy together) and the car takes off on the downhill side, rolls to a stop and then backwards into the oncoming freight train
OK Joe Zullo, do your magic and make it appear!
Pete,
When I click your link, I get “This video is unavailable”.
Shane
Link is ok, but utube said no… as per Shane above.
yeah, perhaps you made the video private Pete?
normally the message is different…
the short links look different…
using embed code
Thanks Greg! It took a while for me to be proficent in doing pictures here so it will take a bit to figure it out here. Until then thanks for helping me out.
Have you thought of using someone other than u-tube ? I use Vimeo as well …
Ok going to attempt this again and see how it works
,
I clicked on the embed , copied it from YouTube, clicked on the video Icon here, clicked on the embed, pasted the code, so lets see what happens now.
HA!!! success! now to remember it for next time! Hmm editing made the video dissapear, so see below I tried again
The layout is looking great Pete! You have made a huge amount of progress since last year.
Dig that bridge too.

Dang, Pete, you been hard at it, the layout looks great. Love the bridge.
I had the same thing happen Pete, editing made the video disappear… I think you have to be careful to have carriage returns (new line) before and after the embed code, and editing removes them. That’s why I often make the video a separate post from my text, that works all the time, the downside is I have to make 2 posts… but then I can edit the post with the text as often as needed.
Greg
The bridge looks great with that nice long freight going over it.
The blooper was too funny and all to common when the cameras are recording.
I had a scramble yesterday when I sent the wedge plow out to push aside leaves and twigs before running a train and it let go near the top of the longest grade section of about 2% over near 100 feet on my RR and it was picking up some good speed as it headed towards the curve at the bottom. No video but I got some cardio in intercepting it.
Hey I saw a smoker… Boomer…
Pete nice to have some train running isn’t it !
after watching the video a couple of times I see some potential problem spots I need to address, some abrupt connections and not smooth transitions , and some dips that could cause problems. Kind of helpful to do this to get inspection of track, I will have to add a corrected video in the future to this after the track gang has done their job.
