It was about 80 degrees Sunday, nice day for a Mt. Meterbox & Bare Sands train ride around the newly expanded Workshop Branch loop. 3 trains running, Ride along on a Rio Grande GP-9 freight, passing a UP A-B-A Streamline, and a UP pacific steam excursion. Here is once around the complete loop of old and new sections.
And from a different perspective.
Nice job on the expansion, Mike. Your layout looks great.
I’m jealous- You’re in 80 degree temps and we here in Buffalo can’t even get above freezing!
-Kevin.
Thanks Kevin!

Well sure, there is some truth in that, this is my 5th winter away from the PA snow and lovin’ it!
This RR just turned 2 years old Feb 9, however about 10 months of those two years I was in PA, 5 months out of both summers.
I remember how grey and dreary PA can be!
Looking good Mike. I like that red mill.
It is nice to see someone having fun with trains.
Mine are buried under 2 feet of snow and ice and it is only 18 degrees out with 3-5 inches more tonight!
Happy RRing
Thanks Todd. I really do feel sorry for my family and friends up north that have to deal with the snow and bitter cold. Before you know it, everyone will be complaning about the heat and humidity!
It’s been nice here since the weekend, but last Wednesday-Thursday we broke records with that arctic blast. Was 26° overnight!! Brrr…
