I used to speak with him regularily on the telephone, but his telephone number does not work now.

and I do have his current ph # around here somewhere unless it’s changed since I was out there in August.
He just called me up to say that although he has trouble finding his way to the bathroom, he and Helen are just fine.

I finally have contacted him, to find out, thankfully, that he and his wife are just fine. I think it was just a bad piece of string in my communication device, or the tin can was overly rusty…!!
