Large Scale Central

RhB theme and the special details

I’ve been tinkering on a Pola kitbash for years - remember what Korm used to have as his motto.

A leftover from the construction days of the Albula tunnel now used as a restaurant - strictly freelance!

Missing were the tables and chairs for such, they need to suit the theme.

Slowly but surely.

Neat!

The chairs and table look to be laser cut.

Did you have something custom made or have a commercial source?

We are part owners of an Epilog 60W machine.

The inside walls on that Pola building are also laser cut and while I was at it I also added wooden roof trusses.

Very Alpine-looking.

For some strange reason, there are a lot of RhB fans in 1:22.5 …

that looks promising.

looking forward to the finished model.

A member of our Garden Railway Association here calls his backyard pike the Radish Bahn.

Yes, I know. The Altman and the Kollmann layouts, together with any number of LS layouts in Europe, provide(d) the incentive to build structures and accessories that are typical for the part of the Grisons we try to represent in the garden.

along with drawings and a few samples of how I build them. There is a neat little collection of drawings on the RhB Forum, since they’re done in CADrail the RhB forum members who “build” usually request the CADrail file, open it in a trial copy of CR and away they go.
