Large Scale Central

RGSEast pics from Saturday

Here’s some not-live-steam photos from Rog’s meet this weekend. (There’s more in the Live Steam Forum.) Something not East Broad Top - a Shay. EBT #15 at Ft Mallison on the high line.

My EBT #15 with the passenger train heading down the hill.

The coal train heading through Ft Mallison. Look at that blue sky . .

Geoff Ringle with many of his models at the Rico yard, (photo taken from the deck above.) Jack Thompson’s #65 with the oil tankers passing on the main, and Jack’s #12 in the passing siding with the gondolas.

A close-up of the models from the previous shot. Note that some of those ‘rock’ hoppers are converted back to 2-bays. The work train includes a fish-belly steel flat with rails, baggage #29 and caboose #26. Geoff won the prize at NNGC as most of these cars are scratch built.

I almost forgot. Video of #15 on the long bridge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmgyT_j0Psk

Nice pics of some beautiful trains! A couple of those shots look almost “real”.
