Revolution Receiver Repair - revisited

I have repaired a number of Revolution receivers. The boards and circuitry design have changed over the years and I have updated my article about making such repairs.

Two new topics are included.

A failure that has the receiver work properly when moving the train in one direction but an overload and failure when reversed (two shorted Mosfets)

A failure where the board is completely dead and unresponsive (blown board-mounted fuse)

Hope this helps some of you

The links you provided point to slow blow and fast blow 5 amp fuses.

Which one is correct?

Tom - I can’t tell which Aristo used but I think I would go with fast blow to protect the internal circuitry -
