Revo

Now that RRS isn’t around, where’s the cheapest place to get the Revo?

Bob, Probably at the ECLSTS… unless you can’t wait a few weeks… Didn’t aristo have the revo as their ““Monthly”” specials???

Robbie at RLD had them for about the same price as RRS when I checked several months ago.

And he should be at York. Call him to have him bring / hold for you at the show.

They are out of stock at a lot of places… supposed to be done any day now… Robby will give you a great price.

You know there was a 15% price increase March 1

Greg

I’m dumb what is a revo?

Sigh!!!

…all that advertising money spent, and it didn’t work on David. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s not really very revolutionary, so it’s called a Revo for short…

It’s beyond DCC… in some one’s mind…

Greg

Bob,
If you haven’t found them yet, this shipment is still at the old price.
Per Lewis
“These will be sold at the 2010 pricing and the next run will have the newer pricing.”
RLD is where I go.

Jonathan Bliese at Electric & Steam Modelworks has the receivers in stock for $75 each.

David,

REVO is Aristocraft’s latest attempt at radio controlled Digital Command Control (DCC) It’s not R/C-DCC, really, but it is close enough for gummint work, mostly.

It is proprietary, so it only works with itself. It won’t work with anybody else’s DCC or RC.

Think of it as a fancy radio control, but that description doesn’t do it justice, either. One thing that I like about it is that I can make a consist of power, and have the separate locomotives operate together as one.

It does what it does very well. There are many in my club who swear by the system. There are a few, though, who swear at it.
