Have any of you guys looked into rapid prototyping printers? You can make your own for under $1000. I think you could make some killer parts for large scale projects with one of these. A lot of guys use Google Sketchup to do their design work and the files can easily be shared with other RepRap users. It will work on lowly Windows based computers or Linux.
