Ross , I just tried that address and it came up on my search engine as an air conditioning firm so is there something they sell that shifts decals or is there another company of the same name ?
It IS the correct address.
I found it confusing at first, as the product was not listed and then…I entered the name NEVR DULL in their search box and voila!..It’s a firm in SOLVA, Pembrokeshire.
Motor cycle shops should have it so they say…
Thanks for that , Ross . I’ll give it a go and let you know .

A UK poster on the UK forum GSC has reported that BRASSO…a brass cleaning liquid will remove paint from plastic. It did so on a Newquida coach without damge to the plastic.
BRASSO…As I recollect it was a liquid with brickdust in it…however it may now be altered (last time I used it was in the Navy 1950’s…had lovely shiny fire hydrants in the hangars on the carrier!!)
…So UK readers…check out the servant’s cleaning materials…
Yes it does, however with more elbow grease applied than the Nevr Dull needs it still leaves some ghosting. Pictures to follow.

It looks very much as though it’s an industrial sized Duraglit , that well loved companion of Brasso in HM Forces .
A variant of Duraglit is Wadpol (guess) used for polishing aircraft clear canopies , or shiny buttons if you forgot to clean them before work . Wadpol and Duraglit are very slightly abrasive and do not remove LGB markings without a lot of effort , it is also the very devil to paint over because it shows through because it gives two different surfaces , unless you’re daft enough to polish the whole side of the vehicle . Best avoided , they both attack some plastics .

If Brasso doesn’t do it, will Silvo? Yes, indeed! Without ghosting.

Brasso on the right, Silvo on the left.

Your mileage may vary, but I’m going with the Nevr Dull.
BTW Silvo is good for Silver, Gold and Glass (says so on the can!), could be used to polish dim bulbs, too (if required).
Excellent…more grist to the mill…
By the way Mike… SINEC was used in the Fleet Air Arm to clean cockpit canopies…safer…non scratch.
If it isn’t tampon printed, but a real decal there are special “ointments” for that too.
And C-L in Germany has a special product for tampon printed items.

We used Wadpol so that the aircrew would have something pretty to look at .
For the posh ones we used an anti-static polish which , unfortunately came with the service nomenclature
"Polish , Aircraft Canopy , Anti Static " .
No clue there as to its origin .
I have been using Automatic Transmission Fluid as a paint remover for some time and along with Brake Fluid (not at the same time) I get the desired result .
Irrespective of what cleaner you use , it must be thoroughly cleaned off ; you may find if you
don’t that the paint finish will wrinkle over time----I’ve not had this happen , but have repaired items that friends have ruined by that , usually through not thinking .
I even had one bloke upset because some idiot told him that nail varnish remover was good at removing paint . It is . It also removes all manner of plastic surfaces .
For the military modeller , nail varnish gives a good representation of AP rounds .

I just did a test on one of the garish yellow cars
(http://www.rhb-grischun.ca/NA-Fora/PrintRemoving04_s.jpg)
Worked as expected, despite the more pronounced colour contrast.
Now all I need to get around to is all three of these critters and umpteen LGB cars.
Removing printing on flat, smooth surfaces shouldn’t be a problem. Tackling one of the LGB high side gons with wood texture added to the boards is a different story. However Nevr Dull, rubbing alcohol, both applied with modified tongue depressors and round tooth picks, does the trick.

The replacement RhB (correct for the era) will need some additional toning down along with the rest of the data on the car.
Looks great. Must get some…
Nice job HJ. I need to get some too.
