On a per unit base I don’[t have a cost. I purchased either enough to build a couple, or the smallest quantity to get the job done. I am guessing in the end the cost will be a bit pricey … about $20 per as my total order was at $100 for everything.
There will be some fabrication needed but only a metal cutting saw and drills and tap minimum. More tools better job, better fitment. I am thinking anyone attempting this will have a drill press and vise available. Files and such will help.
To respond to Pete’s comment, that may be so except most of the parts are metal. Only the outer housing is a 3D printed part. Cheap enough to toss when they bind up and replace (or periodically blow them out) . At least that is the philosophy I am using. I have not yet started the drawings for this. When complete the drawings will include all the goodies, including materials and budgetary costs (who knows where brass prices will go.
