Reminder for the 2017 Build Challenge

Just a quick reminder that on the 1st of January,

We roll out Mik’s Build Challenge 2017.

For those that are new to LSC, Each year to honor a old line modeler “Mik”, we continue the tradition that he started, and put forth a build challenge to all modelers on LSC. Each year, a new category is put up for the friendly competition among LSC’ers.

No one knows what the build is to be until the big reveal on Jan 1st. This year promises to be right up with the best of the past. Theres room for all level of modelers from beginners to pros.

BTW: It’s free to join up, And we have a $30. limit, and only 30 days to get it done in… Hence the challenge…

What I have is what I have, maybe less pics this year as I will have to use my phone and my Freight Shed and I’m still learning to use both. Trying to learn how to resize pics on my phone.

Vic, I email the pictures from my phone to my home computer and massage them there. Then I upload them to the new FS. My home computer has the software to crop, correct skew, adjust lighting and contrast, and resize the pictures. I can’t see my fat fingers, and feeble mind, doing that on my so called smart phone.

Edit because my spell chequer is an idiot.

David, I’ve had luck uploading direct from the phone to the Album’s, but I can’t alter the image size. I can at work though so I may be emailing them to work then cropping then load them, but I will also likely limit the number of pics I take to just the necessities. I can also take smaller size pics with the Tablet but it doesn’t have a flash so once we start I’ll see what works better.
