Remember when I said we run in the snow?

So what did it look like in the Sunny Okanagan this morning? Well 3+ inches of snow (8cm for those of us who know how that stuff works).

That’s the “view” across the lake, same deal as our webcam, which, hey get this, sometimes even shows a train. (Thursday, Apr 17, 08)

What a difference two days make!

Dave,
Is the land-locked Sumpter Valley permissible?
I just finished converting it.

The actual SV bought all kinds of used rolling stock from all of the Colorado, Nevada and California narrow gauges. Shipped them up on the UP to Baker City.

My railroad hauls used rolling stock from all the western NG as well.

Dave,

That’s a wonderful sight to see. We’ve had zero snow here in Port Orford this year and only one single day last year. In spite of that it’s been cold this winter. I fear if there’s anymore global warming we’ll all freeze to death!
