I can declare this refurb a success:
The only known casualties were one of the original headlamp housings, which has now been replaced, and one of the screws that hold on the roof. I might find it again when cleaning up the bench.
Little to no noise now that it’s running on its wheels. Power draw seems reasonable too, between 1-1.6A for 4V and 18V supplied respectively.
I think under my ownership this Crocodile is going to have a long happy service life!
