Reduction of debris!

I’m as “Daft” as the best of them, but do appreciate the idea of coming in from the cold, and enjoying creature comforts…

except when there's a full moon and he dances around the neighborhood naked deftly elluding the RCMP at the same time........;)

That performance is my duty to mankind. By doing the nude Sundance at the midnight hour on the night of the full moon; promises at least two full days of fine weather within the following two weeks.

We who play with trains out in the real world of varying weather; need all the help we can get; and if my sacred dance gives us those two days; I can surely offer my naked body as a sacrifice.

I do not dance for more than a few minutes and know very well that suffering more than I have to, is not in my nature.

I always have my several fingers of good Whisky, before and after, in order to prevent and repair any signs of scurvy, or frostbite.

SheepDip is the usually the medicine of choice. It has never failed me over the many years of serving mankind.

Friday the 26th of October is the next full moon here in the Northern Hemisphere.

And we appreciate your service to mankind… as long as we don’t have to watch!

Ah, good..........at that time I will be safely ensconced in SE Pa .............600 miles away............;)

I’m safely a couple thousand miles away…unless HJ takes the notion to take the lead from Fr Fred…:frowning:

Yuuno why they call ppl up in Dave’s neck of the wood “mossbacks” I assume ?

Must have something to do with the webs between our toes…

HJ lives east of the Cascades. It’s an entirely different world…

Of course, HJ would be living in his own world even if he was Dave’s next door neighbor… :stuck_out_tongue:

we do have issues with “euro-trash” on the railroad…

The theme at the Botanic is “Landmarks of America,” but somebody really likes european steam and these locos keep multiplying. “Where are these all coming from?”

You’re spot on and I’ll be doing the Sundance in the hot tub. That means apart from two days of really nice weather, there will be lots of snow up in the mountains.

All of above conditional on me staying awake til midnight or getting up at midnight. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah well, no problem. I could bring along some cute NA stuff. You know that LGBoA has a Coke items sale, don't you? Looks like they're getting rid of a lot of stuff. I bet you the collectors are salivating.

Those are referred to as "repaint material"

I wonder if Coke would strip the paint off 'em.

No. Pepsi works, however.

That's about all that stuff's good for, anyway. Sure wouldn't want to actually drink it. :)

(Hey, what can I say? I grew up in Washington DC while Marion Barry was mayor. Could I be anything but a Coke addict? )

Later,

K

You have to admit, though, that there's a certain, umm, delicious irony in using Pepsi to strip Coke liveries off :)
