Curious as to why this always shows up as a Red X on the main page,

It used to be an image that said “Join”, I suspect it got flushed after the last hacker attack and Bob hasn’t gotten around to fixing it yet !

Any pic or gif that has been removed from the data base will show up as a red x.

Yup :). I am very aware of that being a website designer and all ;). My question was not how it happens, but why is it happening on this site. Basically, the page is calling and image that it cannot find.
