The current version of the site still has some problems with inconsistency in the appearance of the links. Some are not highlighted and underlined as they should be, so they don’t look like links. I’ve finally figured out how to prevent that and will have it fixed in the final version, as well as few other small errors.

Thanks. I've also heard from a couple friends with cable internet who said the new version isn't too bad. It's still fairly awful though for anyone on dialup.
It takes years to become a competent programmer in ANY language. Keep plugging away - you’ve made a good start!
Adobe products, while not cheap, are the industry standard, be it Mac or Windows. See if you can find a demo of Dreamweaver (try http://www.photoshopsupport.com/photoshop-blog/07/06/download-dreamweaver-cs3-free-trial.html). We’re shifting to it from FrontPage at work. The guys tell me it’s a steep learning curve, but worth the effort.
Just to clarify, I’m still using iWeb for this. I’ve just been finding ways to make it work more efficiently, and have also gotten some help from the iWeb support forum.
