That was great. I’ll have to put that RR on my to-do list. This time of year the fall colors would be great to see along the Lehigh River.

She’s in my front yard, almost and never took the ride. I’m convinced now to take a drive up to Mach Chunk.

We got to spend a couple of days there around 2001, about this time of year. Took a great bike ride on a “rails to trails” bike trail. A bicycle shop in Jim Thorpe took us out and we road down hill for 40 miles back. Don’t know if we were along those exact tracks or not. Sure looked the same. I remember the last thing the shuttle driver said to us. “Watch out for the bears” as he road away with a sh*t eatin grin on his face. We had a fast 40 mile ride. Great fun! Stayed in a hotel in Jim Thorpe that had an inch gap under the door to the outside World. Used the bath towels to stuff the opening.
