You are hereby required to stop any and all track work until the BL2 project is completed

He can hand it over to me Mark and I will finish it for him. However it will have Amtrash mods and paint…WITH ditch lights and HEP cabling

Love to see you 2 pros do a project together, then again don’t know what museum could afford to buy the piece of art and showcase it afterwards  :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve sent the report to Hollywood, but here’s most of it here so future readers here will see what I’ve been talking about:

It was a compliment, sorry it threw you for a loop as they haven’t been used too much on this site much lately

…winking…

Thank you John. I had already gone through the E=Mail when I opened this. Always good to see other peoples ideas and work for new perspectives.

When I designed our layout I took what was there, two steps with a slope between the two, looked where staging would end when one continues the level of the top point of the line into the garage.

What resulted is: track level in the garage (the “A” end of the line) at 58.5" above floor. the first station out in the garden is still at 36", then down to ground level which is anywhere between 0 and 12" elevation the adjoining operating position. The "B “end has a mean of 30” above ground.

IOW both staging ends are at a convenient height and having real scenery is still in the cards.

Whatever isn’t placed on elevated HD benchwork uses the ladder system.

Since pictures are a must

How do you know the skunk was a “He”…? There has to be more to the story than what, so far, has been told…!!

John…I still owe you at least one or two NEW PT 2x8x10’s…when I finally get around to a visit…!!..in the mean time, as the old line goes…“Mind the gap”…!!

Fred

Wow John, Portland is going to be a real high stress job for the yardmaster there with multiple operators. Better lay in an ample supply of tranquilizing beverages such as Fr. Fred’s Holy Water. Anyway that’ll give a lot of fun and interesting ops for sure.
