Again thanks for the warm re-welcome
to answer a few questions, I have been knocking around the forums for years and most of my attempts at railroading have been posted one place or another.
To get specific;
Gary,
Hi Buddy, glad to see you here.
Yea, guess I’m just a whiner but it had been building for a long time. I have/had been a member of that forum siince the Utah Garden Railroad Club days and enjoyed it very much for a long time. The forum has just seemed to go in a direction that I didn’t care to follow, perhaps someday it will change back and be more on topic and civil. Who knows, maybe it was not the forum but just me getting tired of the same ol-same-ol.
Randy,
Glad you liked the video. It was filmed by my Brother-in-Law at last Summers open house, nobody was as surprised as I was at how well it turned out. I am using all AMS code .250 brass track and am pretty satisfied with the product. As for construction I stole every good idea that Richard Smith ever came up with. I tried to sell the methods but danged if he didn’t have them Patented :)=)
Jon,
You can never be too sure. :)=)
Korm,
Yea, the Tunnel corner and the South Fork Bridge were in build logs “over there” as my Buddy Gary says, Oh, and the loco in the canyon is an old battery Big Hauler.
Thanks for your time.
Rick
