I make no apologies for the untidy appearance of the locale - that just the way that they do things here and I tend to ignore it. Being ex-military I have a contrary view, but we all muck in together and run trains all day.

You really are a snob, but that’s OK. So am I, on many different levels. Steam, beer (a good IPA only), ice cream, peanut butter, and mayonnaise to name but a few.
Moi? A snob? Well, that’s something that I have never been called before. Self-opinionated, insufferable, immodest, over-bearing, ungracious - the list is long indeed, but a ‘snob’?
