Large Scale Central

Railfanning too close

Yeah, we’ve seen this before. It was posted several years ago.

Well I wasn’t here Steve so it is good of Joe to post it again for me(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

The second thing I noticed after the crunched car is the wire screen covering the lower half of the windows. Interesting detail.

Devon, I’m with you. Joe has this bad habit of pointing out that “We’ve seen that before.” He doesn’t think anything is wrong with the practice. I knew it was just a matter of time before I could return the favor.

Steve,

Thanks for the return. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)If it was posted before “years ago” I wasn’t here, nor did I see it here. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-kiss.gif)

Doesn’t matter. If you are going to hold folks to the standard of knowing everything that is posted here, so will I. And yes I think it was posted just after you joined up. Stop trying to weasel out of it. Its unbecoming. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Please forgive me, o master! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Also note, The Top Vent windows ( celestory (sp?) tilt out at the ends, all that I can remember tip out from the top pivot. I’m sure the mesh is to provide venting while keeping peoples arms attached during close passes with another car. Also note the front wheels are off the track. That looks like a 28-29-30- model car.

Coitenly, just don’t do it again. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-innocent.gif)

Note how little real damage is done to the rail car, and the fliver is toast.

I think the pole had a lot to do with it.

Well, its kinda nice to know that the idiots I share the road with, have a long history that they are descendant from.

Its not even worth asking…so I won’t. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-undecided.gif)
