Hey, cool. When we were driving up to Ottawa this summer for the Invasion, we go through a windfarm in upper state NY. We saw several trucks with these things on trailers. Holy Crap they’re long!
No sharp turns allowed!
You never know how freakin big they are until you are up close. Those wind farms are popping up all over in Eastern Wa.

Cool loads. i see the tower parts on flatbeds around the York Pa. area all the time.
They look even bigger with men repelling down them for maintenance. It’s a grueling job, climb up the inside of the tower with all your gear; check the winds and if OK, go out the top hatch; repel down over the hub along the blade edge; then hoist yourself back to the hub; repeat for the next blade. I saw this either on TV or a net video. Absolutely crazy work.
On our event filled trip to North Bay a bunch of years ago after the Invasion, we got behind (or passed; I don’t remember) a convoy of these on trucks. Tied us up for a while
