got a Rail Boss Basic and a Junior from Del Taprio at G Scale Graphics. His web site also shows a cheap 2.4mghz radio and a link to it, so pretty handy. I had a bit of trouble hooking it up right, but a quick phone call and a couple of emails and he helped me out and was real nice about it, seeing he was dealing with a bit of a fool! So the Eggliner should be RC’d up soon, once I stuff it all into one of my trailing Eggliner coaches. The Junior unit will go into my rotary snow plow, once I get the tank car built.
Well Jerry. I haven’t had any phone calls, so you must have it all running. The only “fool” is the one that doesn’t ask for help when he should! Hope you enjoy your controls.

Del, weather has been bad here, might try it out today.
Been running the Eggliner train a lot with the Rail Boss, sure works great. Thing runs forever on one 9.6 volt battery. Now giving some thought to the programming so it can stop at the train station(once I get it back out!). So may get another phone call Del!
Jerry Barnes said:Automated station stops are fun. With the Junior RailBoss, it is pretty simple: place a magnet where you want the loco to start slowing down for the stop. Give it a try, and move as needed to make the loco stop at the desired location. To enable the station stops just give a momentary UP on the direction stick while running. To disable, a momentary down.

If you have the Basic or Enhanced RailBoss, you can dial in your stops to meet your exact needs using the DIP switch: set the station stop time, the accel/decel rate, and even the percentage of times the loco stops at the station. The random station stops really mess with your visitors’ heads. The first time they see the loco stop at the station, they think they have it all figured out. Then on the next lap, the train just runs right through! “How does it do that?”
