Near the end of last season my main tunnel “pinch point” suffered a collapse and this Spring I set about repairing it. The original tunnel had 5’ diameter curves inside which were replaced with 6.5’, the approach and exit tracks were regraded and improved with another siding added. The work continued along a few hundred feet of the main with a grade easement rebuild of the route. The main route didn’t change much but curves were eased out.
Here is a video of the action.
