So last weekend I went on a date with my wife. We went to Quinn’s Hot Springs near Paradise MT just north of St. Regis and west of Missoula. We rented a very nice riverside cabin that had a great view of the BNSF mainline on the Clark Fork River. Train’s run by here about 1 an hour (and I got not good pictures of trains). Well on Monday morning I decided to step out and take in the morning. It was 6:30 am wife was still asleep and it was a peaceful morning. I put a pot of coffee on and went out on the porch to wait for a train. Well I forgot my phone and went to get it. Well guess what I did. . .I forgot to unlock the door knob and locked myself out. It is about 25 degrees out and I am barefoot in shorts and a bath robe. Did I mention my wife is asleep and also is deaf. The lodge is about 400 yards away on frozen muddy gravel roads. I sat in the porch swing freezing. If your going to die from freezing to death you can not ask for a better view.
I love the rock formations and I want to model this on the indoor someday. But for now it was just a great view.
