Large Scale Central

Question time

Hi Bob
I really enjoy Large Scale Central. Everytime I have a question I pur it on the list – and get an answer.
I would like to get more people onto the Large Scale Central bandwagon.
I edit a small newsletter for our train group and have an idea. I would like to publish one of the letters each month along with some of the answers. I hope it can help people who are building their layous. I would include a paragraph about the website and hopefully attract more participants.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks

Are you saying you’d like to publish a question and answers out of the forums? As long as you say where you got it, I have no problem with it.

Bob,

A follow up to the request by Doug and my request for a quality handout. How about puttin one on the website here and then we could print it out for train shows and other items like newsletters, without asking you to pull miracles out of your a XXX hat?

Are you guys thinking about a FAQ for large scale railroads? Might be kind of neat. Not sure how Bob would implement it, as it would need a good index and a logical structure. Not to say that Bob’s not logical, mind you…

Hi Bruce,

It could be an FAQ sheet of examples pulled from here and the articles section, but what I want is a handout for train shows like SELSTS and ECLSTS and the Gateway Garden Railroad Winter Meet and all the other shows we attend or set up at. You know a happy customer is always your best advertisement.

Many moons ago I made a flyer, and I still have a bunch of them, but Ive lost the electronic version of it. I need to make it again…

And, we DO have a FAQ of sorts, but I was pondering expanding it with a Wiki type site of information…

OOOooooohhhhh LSCWIKI!!! The possibilities are endless…Didn’t we try an LSC Everything kinda deal once upon a time?

Yes, we had the Wiki up but there wasnt much to it. I’ve re-installed the software and put up an inital page. Any of you out there are welcome to sign up for an account on it, and add/edit pages.
