Mike Morgan,
Nice parting shot!
OK let’s have a look.
Dennis Cherry asked for feedback on ZIMO and features, I gave him feedback.
BUT, apart from that
-
Prior to deciding on ZIMO for my layouts, I did a lot of reading and research.
-
I bought on features - not on price - I wanted the most bang for my buck, not just in 2002 when I bought, but for years to come.
-
ZIMO fits my requirements perfectly and by the looks of it will do so for many years to come since it gets better month after month and year after year.
If anyone asks what the experiences with ZIMO are I gladly volunteer the info, if they want to know the difference to other DCC systems I gladly oblige with that, too.
If you consider that “pushing your friend’s Zimo stuff” well that is your opinion, others may consider that answering a specific question or set of questions.
See, I don’t sell the stuff, I don’t get commission, but most of all I don’t get upset. I have learned that if you call it as you see it there will always be those who cry foul. This despite the proof being delivered along with the rest of the goods.
BTW some of your comments sound like a repeat of what you contributed elsewhere http://www.rhb-grischun.ca/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=486, then deleted and left in a huff.
Repetitive?? Hmmmmmmmm.
But back to ZIMO, after all this is the Power and Sound section, DCC is part of it.
Welllll, is ZIMO perfect? Not yet, but they are working on it.
