At one time food was suppose to labeled for it's chemicals here too but they also have disguised them to the point one never knows what they are really eating.

MSG causes my sinuses to let loose. I have to keep napkins in the car because when I walk out of the restaurant all hell breaks loose. I spend 5 minutes blowing my nose before I can even get the car started. :frowning:

As of 2 December 2006, for the most part, I quite restaurants and eliminated the sugar & starch. All my blood work returned to very healthy normal range within a month. I’m back to fighting weight. It’s crazy, I eat more now and keep losing weight.

If you don’t know and are worried about what additives are included with ingredients, go here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_number to crack the number codes.

There are books available that have the code numbers too.

If you want to read up on MSG try here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monosodium_glutamate

“Everthing pleasurable in life is either illegal, immoral, or fattening”

W.C. Fields

While listening to people speak; I’m amazed at how many times in a minute, they use the phrase, “You know”
Quite often when being interviewed, people use that same phrase.

I just wish for once the person doing the interview, would just, up and say to them…NO; WE DON"T KNOW ; THAT’S WHY WE ARE INTERVIEWING YOU.

Watch out for how over-used that phrase is......YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW, you know, you know, YOU KNOW........makes you sick after a while.

Fred,

When we’re done with that we start listening for “actually”. **** List incomplete, to be expanded as we move forward :stuck_out_tongue:   ****

My two pet peaves:

Using “gender,” when they really mean “sex.”

“The fact of the matter is…” Code word for I don’t know what I’m talking about, but I want you to think that I do.

Stupidity should be painful

"Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can’t help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity. " L. Long, ca. 2342

Article II, Section I, Paragraph 6 — “No idiot or insane person shall enjoy the right of suffrage” That is New Jersey law since 1844.

I’d say New Jersey has had a lot of bogus elections over the years…

Don't you have to have the right of suffrage to run for political office? How did the guv'nor get past that? No seat belts, Good Lord!

Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.
