If any one of those hags were youre wife it would cause you to at least START drinking. I was a sales rep for a major wholesaler out here, and they always used to say" Liquor is for selling not drinking" never knew a liquor salesman that ever lived by that credo tho, it does probably have its merits. Would make the picture above start to look good to you huh!!!

Remeber now gentlemen that up until just after WW2 men far out numbered women in the USA… so your choices might be alittle limited…
and the life and times of women was a far cry from what it is today… My GreatGrandmother’s hands were just as calloused as my Great Grandfathers and Grandfathers, and her make up consisted of a little rouge, white face powder and lip paints… and my greatgrandfather was a well off farmer/rancher/banker until the Great Depression …
And while by todays standards of ‘beauty’ these ladies may seem lacking… they were the beauties of the day…

The more drinks consumed, the prettier a woman becomes (beer goggles), so I have been told. However, in this case these women are cutting off their noses to spite their face.
Is it no wonder men outnumbered women up to the Second World War. Of course, Hitler and Hirohito shortened the odds from then on. Funny how one became a racist war monger/war criminal and the other became an unblemished hero to his people.
