How would some one put two pics (tiny) side by each?
So we could place 2 or 3 small phot’s in profile, to fill up the big space you give us?

Doesn’t work in the conventional way, however you could combine (set side by side) them in a graphic/photo app and post them as one picture.
What HJ said. Not to difficult even for an amateur. You need a basic photo editor (Microsoft Photo Editor is enough) - create an empty image the size you want, then copy and paste the small images in place. EDIT… Kind of like this…
Now, just steal what Jon created, and you are home free!

Yeah, but now drop the [img} [/img} code, the forum software recognizes a picture file when it sees one (smarter than a blind dog!).
One thing I would welcome here is a more detailed location. Many folks just mention their home town but for those of us not completely familiar with the United States ( I just about got the States and large cities figured lol) even a mention of the State would help.
Alan Lott said:I agree Alan. I don't think most of us even realized you could do what you have done to extend the location to be more specific. City and State is probably good enough for us on this side of the pond. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll update mine.

EFIT: I realize now, after I’ve gone to the page to do the update, that my state was already in the profile but it doesn’t display. I just followed your lead and added the state to the City field.
Thanks Jon. I see you put the State name in full. I have managed to work out all the initials of the States such as CT for instance.
The only time I got confused was with LA. Louisiana or maybe that other place Los Angeles. lol .
I remember some three to four years ago, just after I built my RR, someone on the Aristo Forum mentioned they were going to KCMO. Don’t ask me how, but I knew where they were going. One thing is for sure that large scale railroading, particularly following American practice, has widened my knowledge of the United States in many things. Why, even my spell check tells me I am wrong when I spell color as colour. lol
Alan,
So done for your educational purposes.
