I have been pulling out a lot of old engines that I have not used for years, as I am converting to battery power. I noticed that not a single PH sound unit functions after sitting in storage all these years. Anyone know what to do to bring these units back to life? Or do they just rot with the ozone, like rubber, and there is nothing you can do about it. Other brands are working fine although a few seem to “studdar”.
if they have a battery see if its charged or needs replacement. If not and they won’t work with power applied toss’em. They were cheap poor quality sound and there are much nicer units out now for not much money.
It is so ironic, I bought a bunch of Aristo sound units for $30 each. They had so-so sound but almost all of them still work after well over 10 years. These PH units cost a lot more than $30 each and none of them work today.
