How many people showed up?
Not a lot. Maybe a couple dozen. The only notice was on the local “Next Door” web site. I used to pass out fliers through the neighborhood, but with two dogs, this became too much effort.
We do this for the Club meeting (dinner potluck) the prior Sunday and had over a couple dozen then. I always figure that the Club meeting run is the test bed for the public run and it gives me a week to fix anything that didn’t work.
Who said newspapers are dead? Enjoyed reading the whole thing. Nice to see a paper that covers local doings.
