I purchased a 2nd hand shay. I was told it was seldom used, I have run it just one time and now need to send it to a good home! The track I ran on was elevated, but I am not sure if it was ever on the ground where the running gear was subject to dirt and grit. What is the best way to flush out a drive train? A spray can of WD40 and then re-lube with light oil?
