Thanks for your comment but, the aluminum sheeting I use is two times thicker than aluminum flashing,
flashing would be to flimsy for my personal taste.

Dennis yes, some of it is a bit flimsy. But they sell different gauges of it at the big box stores. And with some added reinforcement, some of your readers could use it instead of sourcing out the more expensive stuff you use.

Really nice Dennis! A bit more “tidy” than some of your cliffhangers (for example). One of the things I like about your builds are the realistic colors. Here, all the different forms of brick or “stucco” or rock trim look like they should: not too red or too white or too dark. Just right. Did you have a baby bear helping you? 
Will you be adding tons of little details to this (another thing you are great at)? What did you decide this building will be (from a signage point of view)?

Thanks Jim, yes i got the name! I played with this one for a while, so I came up with the name. Then I wanted something very unique to accent

NOW THE FENCE
I am going to fasten the structure to a 16 gauge metal base, so when outside the wind will not blow away.
Then I want a wooden fence around the sides and back, on the right side i will have a little shooting area.

Pete’s Pistol Packing Palace is awesome. An old friend told me once, after I had overused the letter M, that “alliteration is absolutely awful” so I’ve avoided it a bit (though my last project was Mackenzie’s Mercantile, so I guess I’m still stuck on M’s).

Yes I am looking forward to completing the scene around the 4P Gun shop. I love making highly detailed scenes that can be left outside for a short time that will not be ruined by the elements. That can be placed into their location, QUICKLY, without getting down on my rarely used hands and knees position.
I have always been disappointed in the lack of use of lots of details in GRR and fully understand why, but this is my way of fulfilling my desire for details.

Geez Dennis this stuff is amazing. You are really giving Ray a run for his money on this precision board series you have been doing. Maybe we need a LSC build-off between the two of you.

Cliff , Thanks for your compliments. Wood – It is Poplar, I have lots of it, scrap from work. I had ripped strips 30 plus inches long
clamped to a work table, with wire brush in cordless drill, and textured as you see it. i place 8 pieces in a bundle taped together with
a spiral of masking tape. then cut to length on a band saw. Easy way to cut a lot of pieces quickly.

Log Cabins
I have been wanting to design a log cabin type structure. As a fan of the program Barn Builders I am a fan of the flat faced
log structures. Not doing the dovetail type locking ends, I have come up with a log looking structure that has the look that
satisfies my desire for log structures.

The above picture shows the walls together, before the chinking has been placed. Chinking is the material used to fill the gap between the logs.
Below has the chinking installed, which is no more than white paint.
