How do you keep it from growing green strings?

PondBlock tabs, AlgaeControl, Bleach, any number of things out there to do that.

Or harvest the green string and weave it into bobble hats for global warming fanatics .

Water that has run off peat bogs does not suffer algal growth .

Peat (who he?) is acidic . This is taken up by the water .

So chuck a couple of bottles of vinegar in your reservoir .

ps all you’ll need then is the salt and fries .

A bit of sea salt works well, too.
