Polk's Generation Next

Folks, today I received an email from Trainworld, as I am sure many of you have. The email advertizement was for Polk’s Generation Next trains. Trainworld has Polk’s FA1s, C16s some PCCs a few 0-4-0 sets, some passenger cars, and few other bits. I don’t know if this is new old stock, or if Scott is bringing these items back into production. But it is nice to see that he now has more then just track. Yes, I know, he had more then just track for a while, but its still nice to see this stuff. Its a bit early to celebrate the return of the Aristo line, but there is a glimmer of hope.

I know Scott had put out a list at the last ECLSTS saying what he would have. But I take a “believe it when I see it” attitude with a lot of things. So it looks like the stuff is here.

PS. I could have revived the old thread on this topic, but I decided that I didn’t want to dredge up some of the posts on that thread.

Well, this is good news, of course they already showed all the stuff that came in on the Facebook page… it seems that is where you look for news on GenerationNext.

I hope people buy the FA’s so that more popular / desirable (in my opinion) locos can be made.

I’m afraid it appears that this is stuff that was built and never paid for by Aristo, but heck, it’s progress.

Greg

Gregg, yes, I was thinking that it was new old stock, but I wasn’t sure. But even if it is, it shows that Scott has the cash to bring that stuff into the country, so its progress.

If the marketing is all done on Facebook, then I will always be behind the curve on PGN, since I don’t Facebook.

Ditto Dave, neither do I.

I have a Category on my website just for Polk’s GeneratioNeXt. we will be seeing more products in the near future.

Robby, I do hope so.

Of little consequence to me in the UK but I am greatly encouraged by the post by Robbie. I see he is supporting PNG as are some other well known retailers.
