Not all peace officers, just a few select of course. Most especially the ones who will suffer themselves to be on a show like COPS in the first place, bragging about eating lunch.

I work for the local fire dept. and i have about 15 pictures (of different cars) of stuff like this. A police car in a tree, in a creek, run over by a tractor trailer, vandalized while at a call (someone painted “pig” on the side they couldn’t see and cut the tires). Some are stupid mistakes, others are just hazards of the job.
My favorite though is the guy who bought a 50 lb. box of roofing nails and threw them all over the parking lot of city hall. He got caught because he was sweeping them up from in front of our engine house door. When asked why he said “he didn’t want the engine to get a flat incase there was an emergency”. At least the criminals like us…
